I had been asked to make and design a beach bag,as a suprise 40th birthday present. The lady that had ordered the bag knew she wanted a sunbather on the front and also a messgae/logo on the back.
I suggested that they wrote a simple message on the pocket, which I then embroided over,
before stitching onto the flowery lining fabric.
.I made the straps using both fabrics and had the flowery fabric as the top of the strap to add some contrast to the plain pink main fabric.
